The Cave City Watermelon Festival is an annual community celebration in Cave City, Arkansas, renowned for highlighting the area’s claim to growing the “World’s Sweetest Watermelons.”

First held in 1980, the festival has grown from a one-day affair into a major three-day regional event and is recognized as one of the best festivals in Arkansas.

The festival in late July gathers locals and visitors for live music, a kids' fishing derby, a car show, seed spitting contest, a wet zone for kids, watermelon games, and all-you-can-eat slices of Cave City's famous watermelons, aka the "World's Sweetest Watermelons."
