Peanut Butter Fudge Day

This soft, sweet and salty American confection is celebrated enthusiastically on November 20 each year.

Fudge, in general, has a separate food holiday on June 16. This one recognizes peanut butter as the main ingredient, combined with sugar and milk to create a creamy treat.

Peanut Butter Fudge originated in the USA in the late 1800s as a variation on traditional fudge when cooks began experimenting with peanut butter as an ingredient.

A National Peanut Butter Fudge Day was established by the National Peanut Board as a way to spotlight Americans’ love for the treat and the peanut butter industry. The day encourages people to make, share, and enjoy this uniquely American sweet, uniting culinary creativity and a national fondness for peanuts and peanut butter.
