This festival is all about sausages, showcasing more than 160 years of German culture in Iowa and featuring sausage makers from all over the state.

This festival celebrates the German tradition of sausage making with local sausage vendors, beer, drinks, desserts, sides, and contests such as a Judge’s Choice and People’s Choice for best sausage.

Beer, wine, games, contests and music are also part of the festivities along with Iowa’s official running of Dachshund Derby to find the fastest wiener dog in the state.
