Sponsored by the Kodiak Chamber of Commerce, this five-day festival during Memorial Day Weekend celebrates the abundant resources received from the sea.
Events include a carnival, parade, kids’ fish toss, Blessing of the Fleet, Coast Guard Search and Rescue Demo, Survival Suit Race, marathon, Art Show, and more.
The festival offers a wide variety of seafood including king crab, Dungeness crab, and snow crab, along with fish and chips, Filipino BBQ, Mexican tacos, fried bread, clam chowder, and unique glacier water sodas.
